This policy applies to the RICE LABS website at ricelabsusa.com and the related quote, account, proposal, artwork, payment-request, and project-management experiences we make available through it. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

By using our services, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you submit information about another person, you are responsible for having authority to do so.

Information you provide

• Contact and organization details: name, company, email address, phone number, website, and account details.
• Project and transaction details: product type, quantities, decoration method, design count, colorways, budget, deadlines, delivery needs, shipping information, approvals, payment status, and communications.
• Files and content: artwork, logos, reference images, production files, instructions, comments, and other material you upload or send to us.
• Account and support information: authentication details, verification status, project history, and information included in support or privacy requests.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: browser and device information, pages and features used, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, referral pages, and diagnostic or security events.
• Marketing attribution: landing page, referring site, campaign parameters, and advertising click identifiers such as Google, Meta, or TikTok click IDs when they are present in the URL.
• Cookies and similar technologies: information used for account sessions, security, site preferences, attribution, analytics, and campaign measurement.

We use information to:

• review requests, prepare quotes, and communicate about projects;
• source garments, create mockups, produce goods, arrange shipping, and provide support;
• create and secure accounts, link prior requests, and maintain project history;
• process and reconcile payment requests and maintain business records;
• measure website and campaign performance and improve our services;
• detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
• comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect our rights and users; and
• send marketing communications when permitted. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the business and deliver your project. Recipients may include:

• Infrastructure and security providers that host the website, databases, file storage, authentication, and abuse-prevention services, including Cloudflare and Neon.
• Communications and measurement providers used for transactional email, contact management, analytics, and campaign attribution, including Resend and services configured through Google Tag Manager.
• Production and fulfillment partners such as garment suppliers, decorators, manufacturers, shippers, and address-verification providers when they need information to quote, produce, or deliver your order. EasyPost may be used for shipping functions.
• Payment service providers when you receive or complete a payment request. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own terms; we do not need your full card number to maintain our project records.
• Professional advisers and authorities when necessary for legal, accounting, insurance, security, or compliance purposes.
• Business transaction participants in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of relevant assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not disclose customer artwork or project files for unrelated public use. We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Our site uses cookies and related technologies for account sessions, security, user interface preferences, and your privacy choices. With your permission, our first-party attribution cookie can retain a first and most recent marketing touch for up to 90 days. Cloudflare Turnstile may process device and network signals when verification is required to protect the quote form from abuse.

If you allow analytics or marketing technologies, Google Tag Manager may activate tags selected by RICE LABS. Those tags may use identifiers and collect usage information under the applicable provider's privacy terms. You can change your choice at any time through “Privacy choices” in the footer, limit cookies through your browser settings, and use platform-level advertising controls. Blocking some cookies may affect account, security, or site functionality.

External social links take you to third-party platforms. Their collection begins when you visit those platforms and is governed by their policies.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to maintain project and transaction records, provide accounts, meet tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Retention varies by record type and may continue after a project or account ends. When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it where reasonably practicable.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep account credentials and private proposal links confidential, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; or to appeal a decision about your request. You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising an applicable right.

To make a privacy request, email rice@ricelabsusa.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Tell us the request you are making and the email address connected to your interaction with RICE LABS. We may verify your identity or authority before acting, and an authorized agent may submit a request where law allows.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message or by contacting us. Transactional and project communications may continue when necessary to provide requested services.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses, organizations, and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information.

United States processing

RICE LABS and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
